Son of singer-songwriter Albert Hammond, who scored a number of hits in the
1970s, Albert Hammond Jr. made his name with New York band The Strokes during
the rock'n'roll revival of the 2000s. Born in Los Angeles in 1980, the guitarist
has been pursuing his own career since the album Yours to Keep (2006), featuring
his friends Sean Lennon, Ben Kweller and associate Julian Casablancas. Two years
later followed the modestly successful ¿Cómo Te Llama? before The Strokes
