The Cantopop singer, actor, and TV host Alex To was born as "Alejandro Delfino"
in Hong Kong, China, on February 10, 1962. As a teenager, he studied abroad in
Vancouver, British Columbia, before returning to Hong Kong, where he graduated
from college in 1985. That same year, he participated in the New Talent Singing
Awards competition, which he won. The victory earned To a spot on the roster of
Capital Artists, and he released his debut album 華星新秀新節奏 in 1986. Two additional
