Born on March 2, 1981, Aline Lahoud grew up in Beirut, the Lebanese capital.
Daughter of producer Nahi Lahoud and singer Salwa Al Katrib, her parents'
professions naturally led her towards music and the performing arts. She took
part in and appeared in short films, then won the Fidof prize in 2014, which
narrowly missed opening the door to Eurovision 2005, after Lebanon chose not to
take part. Nevertheless, this initial media exposure enabled her to win the
Trophée International Charles Trenet de la Francophonie in Deauville in 2005 and
the Murex d'or du nouveau talent in Lebanon...
