Amazarashi is a Japanese rock group formed in Mutsu, Aomori. The band was
launched in January 2007 by vocalist/guitarist Hiromu Akita and keyboardist
Manami Toyokawa. Although early releases like Hikari, Saikō, 0., and 0.6 all
failed to chart, Amazarashi founded commercial success with its full-length
debut album, Sennen Kōfukuron, which charted at number 12 in 2011. Over the next
two years, the mini albums Rabu Songu, Nē Mama Anata no Iutōri, and Anta e all
charted within the Top 20, as did the band's second album, Yūhi Shinkō
