Amina Annabi was born on March 5, 1962 in Carthage, Tunisia. Her mother, a
musician, soon brought her into contact with traditional and popular music, and
Amina soon developed a passion for Tina Turner and Oum Kalthoum. When she
arrived in France at the age of thirteen, Amina's desire for an artistic career
gradually took shape, and she began training in dance and singing. She gave her
