Born Lars Ankerstjerne Christensen on August 15, 1984, in Hundige, Denmark, the rapper and songwriter is better known professionally by his middle name, Ankerstjerne. He began his musical career in 2007 when he signed to Nexus Records and began releasing music under the name Jinks. He came to prominence when his single “One Night” (featuring Billy Beautiful) was featured on the soundtrack for the 2007 movie Rich Kids.
