Son of the media-savvy pastor Tony Evans, contemporary gospel singer Anthony
Evans was born in Dallas, Texas, on July 14, 1978. A graduate of Virginia's
Liberty University, he began his career in 2004 with the album Even More,
released on the Epic label, which reached number 17 in the gospel charts, before
signing with Integrity Music, which released Letting Go (number 14 in the gospel
charts) two years later. In 2008, he reappeared with EMI Gospel for The Bridge
