Classical organist, harpsichordist, and pianist Anthony Newman was born on May
12, 1941, in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for a repertoire that
focuses on the Baroque era with an affinity for the works of Johann Sebastian
Bach. Interested in the music of Bach since he was a child, he studied the organ
