Born on March 22, 1976, in Tokyo, Japan, Asako Toki is a Japanese
singer-songwriter and lyricist. Her musical journey kicked off with the release
of her debut solo album Standards in February, 2004, followed by her original
album Debut in September, 2004, though neither found chart success. She
subsequently released cover albums Standards on the Sofa and Standards Gift on
November 10, 2004, and November 9, 2005, respectively. Transitioning to Avex's
