Bárbara Reyzábal González-Aller was born on March 29, 1982 in Madrid, into a
family well-known in the audiovisual production world. When she began singing,
she mainly performed covers of songs by artists such as Christina Aguilera and
Laura Pausini. In 2011, she took on the pseudonym Barei and recorded the Latino
pop album Billete Para No Volver, which met with no success. She then changed
her style, moving towards contemporary, urban pop with soul, funk and electro
