Battle Beast
If not symphonic metal, Finland's Battle Beast are classic heavy metal fans. The
band debuted in 2008, and in 2010 won the Wacken Open Air Metal Battle Contest
at the famous German festival. Led by singer Nitte Valo, with a Beth Ditto
physique and a Doro chest, Battle Beast released the album Steel in April 2011.
Chosen by compatriots Nightwish to support the Imaginaerum tour in 2012, Battle
Beast's debut album was released in France in February 2012. Battle Beast in
