The power trio rock supergroup Beck, Bogart & Appice had numerous almost
beginnings until finally coming together for a brief period in the 1970s.
Revered guitarist Jeff Beck first met bassist Tim Bogert and drummer Carmine
Appice in 1967, when Bogart and Appice were already signed to a label as the
rhythm section for the hard rock band Vanilla Fudge. Two years later that duo
were ready to add themselves to the Jeff Beck Group, but Beck sustained severe
