Born on the Quiberon peninsula into a family of Morbihan fishermen on December
7, 1970, Bertrand Belin became interested in the Cajun music of New Orleans, and
in 1989 joined the Canadian group Stompin' Crawfish, where he stayed for six
years, recording two albums. In 1996, he joined the British band Sons of the
Desert for two albums, before embarking on a solo career as a singer-songwriter.
In addition to two albums for the Sterne label, Bertrand Belin (2005) and La
Perdue (2007), he composes the musical parts of shows and films, notably
