Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, where she joins the ranks of fellow St. Louis hip-hop dynamos Nelly, Akon, and Tiffany Foxx, Big Boss Vette aka Diamond Alexxis Smith cut her teeth covering rap songs on Facebook and went viral in 2015 after creating her own version of Dej Loaf's "Try Me."
