Although formed as a spinoff of the K-pop boy band Seventeen, BSS quickly
developed an audience of its own, topping the South Korean charts with the
group's debut, Second Wind, and reaching Number 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100
with the single "Fighting." The group was launched in 2018 in Seoul, South
Korea. Members Boo Seung-kwan, Lee Seokmin (also known as "DK"), and Kwon
Soonyoung (also known as "Hoshi") had performed with Seventeen since 2015,
