BUCK-TICK are a five piece Japanese rock band who rose to prominence after being in the vanguard of the country's 'visual kei' movement - the name given to Japan's glam rock phenomenon which emerged during the late 1980s. Members are Hisashi Imai, Hidehiko Hoshino, Yutaka Higuchi and Toll Yagami. During their career the band have evolved through various genres having begun life in the aftermath of punk with a fairly basic raw sound.
