Part of a new generation of alt. country artists, Caitlin Rose comes steeped in a love of 1970s stars such as Gram Parsons, Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline, while bringing her own every day dramas and deadpan humour into her songwriting. Described as a "country Lily Allen", Rose grew up in Nashville playing in indie bands and performing at parties, before recording her own songs for a local record label.
