Carlos Jean Arriaga, known professionally as Carlos Jean, is a Spanish DJ, music
producer and singer. He was born on June 15 1973 in Ferrol, Spain. In 1996, he
joined singer/actress Najwa Nimri on a musical project named Najwajean, a
trip-hop band that went on to achieve popularity and critical acclaim with the
release of albums such as their 1998 debut No Blood. In 2000, Carlos Jean
released his solo debut Planet Jean, gaining notoriety as a producer. Shortly
afterwards, he started producing and remixing tracks by Spanish artists such as
