Italian singer/songwriter Carmen Consoli, born September 4, 1974 in Catania,
picked up the guitar at a young age, but she made her name with her emotive
vocals that she could utilize within many different genres. While a teen she was
part of the cover band Moon Dog’s Party, which specialized in R&B and soul
songs. She made her first album in 1996, Due Parole, but that little heard album
did not hint at what was to come. 1997’s Confusa e Felice reached platinum sales
