Carolina Durante
Named after one of its member’s summer fling, Carolina Durante is a Spanish
indie rock band formed in 2017 in Madrid. Composed of Diego Ibáñez (vocals),
Martín Vallhonrat (bass), Juan Pedrayes (drums), and Mario del Valle (guitar),
the group released their debut EP Necromántico (2017) shortly after its
inception via independent label Sonido Muchacho. They scored their first hit
with the 2018 controversial single “Cayetano,” which helped the band win two MIN
awards for Song of the Year and Best New Artist. Follow-up single “Perdona
