The Turkish rapper, singer, and songwriter Bilgin Özçalkan releases music under
the stage name Ceza. He was born on December 31, 1976, in Üsküdar, Istanbul.
After working for years as an electrician, he formed the band U.C.S in 1995.
After leaving U.C.S. in 1995, he teamed up with fellow rapper Killa Hakan to
form a new band, Nefret. The duo debuted with Meclis Ala – İstanbul in 2000,
then released a second album, Anahtar, in 2001. Med Cezir, his debut as a solo
