Chansung, born Hwang Chan-sung on February 11, 1990, in Seoul, South Korea, is a
singer, rapper, songwriter, and actor. He embarked on his entertainment career
with a role in the 2006 comedy series Unstoppable High Kick. His early acting
credits also include the teen drama Jungle Fish (2008), which earned critical
acclaim and awards, including a Peabody Award. Chansung's musical journey began
after he competed on the show Superstar Survival in 2006, leading to his
