Known for her silky-smooth, forward-thinking melange of R&B, electronica, and
pop music, Canadian singer-songwriter and producer Charlotte Day Wilson jumped
into the limelight with her 2016 debut single “Work.” Born in Toronto in 1993,
she studied classical piano as a child and taught herself how to use music
production software during her teenage years. Citing Motown and bluegrass as her
early influences, Day Wilson went on to master the saxophone and guitar before
joining the R&B group The Wayo while attending college in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
