Inspired by hip-hop eminences like Wu-Tang Clan, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Pop Smoke,
Chris Soriano (born in 1997), better known as his rapper alter ego CJ, started
dreaming of making it big in the hip-hop world when he was just a teenager.
Armed with just a mic and a laptop, the Staten Island native began recording
himself and producing demos. In 2017, he independently released “On Me,” his
