Claudio Roditi is a Brazilian jazz trumpet player whose styles encompasses heavy
bop with Latin influences. His 2009 release 'Brazilliance X 4', described by
Jazz Times as "sensuous and steamy", was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best
Latin Jazz Album.
Born in Rio de Janeiro he learned to play music as a child and was influenced
heavily by American jazz stars such as Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker and Miles
