Real name Hugo Papin, the rapper from Nantes took his pseudonym Coelho in homage to Brazilian writer Paulo Coelho, author of the famous novel L'Alchimiste (1988). Coelho appeared in 2017 with the EP Philadelphia, produced by his older brother BeDar, and went on to record the albums Vanités (2018), Odysée (2020) and Un Jour de Moins (2022), released on the Mezoued Records label created by Tunisiano.
