Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett, whose debut album 'Sometimes I
Sit and Think and Sometimes I Just Sit' won four ARIA Awards in her home country
and also garnered international attention when she was nominated as Best New
Artist at the Grammy Awards and Best International Female at the Brits. The
album peaked at number 16 on the UK Albums Chart.
Born in Sydney, she began her career in Melbourne where she played in a garage
