Cupid
Cupid is an American R&B singer who scored a multi-platinum hit in 2007 with the
line-dance single "Cupid Shuffle." He was born as "Bryson Bernard" on October
10, 1982, in Lafayette, Louisiana. His father worked as a pastor during
Bernard's youth, and Bernard began singing in the church choir, developing a
powerful five-octave range along the way. Although he attended the University of
Louisiana at Lafayette on an athletic scholarship, he continued making music,
too, releasing the independent single "Do Ya Thang" in 2001 and following it
with a full-length album, Cupid, one year ...
