Curtis Stigers – born in Boise, Idaho on October 18, 1965 – is a jazz and soft
rock vocalist who is able to turn smooth, modern jazz ballads into radio
friendly, coffee table pop hits. During his heyday in the 1990s, Curtis Stigers
provided the soundtrack to sophisticated, candlelight smooching for couples
everywhere. Raised in Boise, Idaho, he is a classically trained clarinetist and
saxophonist. He was discovered performing with a jazz trio in New York and was
signed to Arista Records, who released his 1991 single “I Wonder Why,” which hit
the Top 10 in the US, UK, and Ireland ...
