Born Daniel Chan Hiu-tung on September 3rd, 1975 in Hong Kong, Daniel Chan is a
Mandopop and Cantopop singer/songwriter and actor who rose to fame during the
'90s. After honing his singing skills under the tutelage of revered vocal
instructor Master Tai Si Ching, he landed a recording contract with Universal in
the early '90s and garnered acclaim for his debut 1995 album, Fly With Me. That
same year, he scooped the national award for "most popular male singer of the
year" and released a number of talked-about follow-up albums for Universal,
