An Italian film composer fascinated by his compatriots of the past (Ennio
Morricone, Piero Umiliani, De Angelis...), Daniele Luppi has made a career in
the United States, where he composes or arranges Finders, Keepers, The Woman
Chaser, Sous Le Soleil de Toscane and Inside Deep Throat. In 2004, his tribute
album An Italian Story caught the attention of Danger Mouse, who asked him to
collaborate on all his subsequent projects, from the two Gnarls Barkley albums
with Cee-Lo Green to Joker's Daughter, Dark Night of the Soul, Broken Bells and
the 2011 album Rome.
