Spotted as a child at singing competitions, Australian Danielle de Niese
embarked on a career in the USA, where she became a singer at the age of 15,
first with the Los Angeles Opera, then with New York's famous Metropolitan
Opera. Since 1998, with a role in The Marriage of Figaro, the young favorite has
been making a name for herself on the international stage, particularly in the
Baroque repertoire, performing Monteverdi(The Coronation of Poppea),
