David Bisbal Ferré (born on June 5, 1979) is a Spanish singer who jumped to
stardom after his participation on the first season of reality TV talent show
Operación Triunfo. Born and raised in Almería, Bisbal’s music career started as
the lead singer of local outfit Orquesta Expresiones. In 2001, he auditioned for
TVE’s Operación Triunfo, where he became a fan favorite and finished in second
