Debbie Davis is an American singer whose musical career flourished in France,
where she became a naturalized citizen. She took her first steps on stage as a
backing singer alongside Sylvie Vartan, and was spotted six years later by
François Valery, who offered her the opportunity to take part in the soundtrack
to the successful erotic film Joy, for which he himself wrote the credits. He
