The Christian metal band Demon Hunter hails from Seattle, Washington, where
brothers Don Clark and Ryan Clark launched the group in 2000. The siblings had
previously played together in Neurosis and Coalesce, two bands whose hard-edged
sound helped lay the foundation for Demon Hunter's mix of metalcore and nu
metal. The band's debut single, "Through the Black," appeared on the Christian
compilation This is Solid State Vol. 3 in early 2002, and Demon Hunter's
