Connecting the dots between blues-tinged garage rock and R&B-inflected indie
pop, Diamante Eléctrico is a Colombian rock band formed in Bogotá in 2012. The
trio, consisting of Juan Galeano on vocals and bass, Daniel Álvarez on guitar,
and Andee Zeta on drums, kicked off their career with a successful fundraising
campaign, raising over $5,000 for their debut album in 2013. This self-titled
release quickly garnered attention, earning them the Best Rock Group title at
