Mélanie Georgiades, better known as Diam's, was born on July 25, 1980 in Nicosia
(Cyprus). When her parents divorced, the young girl moved to the Paris suburbs
with her mother, spending her childhood in Les Ulis. It was here that she was
introduced to rap, and from 1994 onwards, she made a name for herself with
numerous freestyles and featurings. After the promising album Premier Mandat in
