Singer Diana King is best known for her cover of Dionne Warwick's 'I Say a
Little Prayer' which was featured in the 1997 film 'My Best Friend's Wedding'.
Originating from St. Catherine in Jamaica, she promoted a mix of reggae and
dancehall in her music. She signed a record deal with Sony Music in 1994 after
they heard her performance on The Notorious B.I.G.'s song 'Respect'. The same
year, she covered Bob Marley's 'Stir It Up' for the film 'Cool Runnings'. In
1995, she released her debut album, 'Tougher Than Love', charting at number one
on the Reggae Chart.
