Born on September 30, 1944 in Montreal, Canada, Diane Dufresne is a pop singer
from Quebec. She moved to Paris in 1962 to study singing. She made her debut in
the boîtes à chansons in 1965. In 1969, she took part in the show Les Girls,
with Clémence DesRochers. In the fall of 1972, she released her first album,
Tiens-Toé Ben, J'Arrive, with which she scored her first radio hits with the
songs " En écoutant Elton John ", " J'ai rencontré l'homme de ma vie " and the
title track. The 1970s saw the release of À Part de d'Ça J'Me Sens Ben / Opéra
