The Sertanejo music genre has been around in Brazil since the 1920s, but it has
recently seen a resurgence of popularity thanks in part to acts such as Diego &
Victor Hugo. The duo, composed of Diego Kistenmacher Barros de Alencar and Elías
Anderson de Brito, has been making a name for itself for the last several years.
