Dionne Farris, born in New Jersey in 1969, owes her first name to Dionne
Warwick. A singer from an early age, she took part in productions of musicals,
then made a name for herself on several tracks with rap group Arrested
Development, including the single "Tennessee " (1992). Two years later, she
released her first solo album, Wild Seed - Wild Flower, which brought her the
biggest hit of her career, "I Know", ranked #4 in the USA. After a few tracks
