Djany
French-Congolese of mixed race, Djany has been singing since the age of five, in
the wake of her gospel-singing mother. Djany then started out as a backing
singer for Chimène Badi, Yannick Noah and Lara Fabian. In 2008, she embarked on
her first major French tour alongside Christophe Maé, before signing a contract
with Universal subsidiary Def Jam France in 2011. That same year, Djany once
again made a name for herself as backing vocalist for Mister You on two tracks
of Dans Ma Grotte. Released in September 2012, "Nos jeux d'enfants" brought
Djany the beginnings of personal recog...
