Norwegian metal band Djerv was formed in 2009 around singer Agnete Kjølsrud and guitarist Stian Kårstad, joined by drummer Erlend Gjerde, Greek guitarist Stamos Koliousis and bassist Victor Brandt. First appearing on the Headstone EP in 2010, the band made their mark on a wider audience with their single album of the same name, produced by Daniel Bergstrand (Meshuggah, In Flames) and mixed by Matt Hyde (Deftones, No Doubt).
