Dom La Nena is the stage name of Brazilian-born, Paris-based cellist and
singer-songwriter Dominique Pinto. Born in Porto Alegre in 1989, she initiated
her piano studies at the age of 5 before switching to cello three years later.
Around that time, Dom La Nena relocated to Paris with her family, only to move
back to Brazil during her teenage years. There, she began a correspondence with
American cellist Christine Walevska, who convinced her to move to Buenos Aires
