Drafi Deutscher was a German singer-songwriter who enjoyed a successful and
sometimes colourful career. As a solo artist his career peaked during the late
1960s after the singer had enjoyed a string of chart hits which included two
number ones: 'Shake Hands' in 1964 and 'Heute Male ich dein Bild, Cindy-Lou' in
1965.
During this period Deutscher was a household name until everything changed,
