Dua Lipa
Born in London on August 22nd, 1995 to Albanian parents, Dua Lipa began her
music career posting videos of herself performing on YouTube. Unlike so many
others who try to start the same way, her talent was noticed and she signed a
recording deal with Warner, releasing her debut single “New Love” shortly
thereafter. Its follow-up, “Be the One,” performed extremely well in the charts,
reaching number 1 in several European countries and number 9 in the UK. She went
on tour in 2016 to promote her music and was named one of the BBC's Sounds of
