Born March 23, 1961, Eivind Aarset is a Norwegian guitarist best known for his
work with a wide variety of artists including Ray Charles, Bill Laswell, Jon
Hassell, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Jan Barbarek, David Sylvian, and many others. His
own style has been compared to nu-jazz, electronica, and everywhere in between.
Apart from being Norway’s most in-demand session guitarist, he has also released
