Electrelane
Formed in 1998 in Brighton (East Sussex), Electrelane is an all-female band
unlike any other. Its four members strive to produce a largely instrumental
alternative rock sound reminiscent of Can, Neu!, The Velvet Underground and
Smashing Pumpkins. Starting timidly in 2001 with Rock It to the Moon, their
discography is quickly brightened by the excellent The Power Outproduced in 2004
with the participation of Steve Albini. Axes in 2005 and No Shouts, No Calls in
