Formed in Melbourne, Victoria, the Australian band Electric Mary is a
contemporary act rooted in loud, guitar-driven classic rock. Named after Jimi
Hendrix's Electric Lady Studios (and the studio's modern-day manager, Mary
Campbell), the group was launched in 2003 by Rusty Brown, who pieced together a
lineup of hard-rock musicians inspired by the stomp and swagger of the genre's
