A finalist on Idol in 2006 and member of the boy band E.M.D., Swedish singer
Erik Segerstedt enjoyed success right from his solo debut with No. 1 "I Can't
Say I'm Sorry". Born in Uddevalla on April 20, 1983, he completed his studies in
Stockholm, and at the age of 23 auditioned for the TV show Idol, where he made
it all the way to the final with a sample of classic rock and soul covers. The
following year, he formed the group E.M.D. with two other Idol contestants -
Danny Saucedo from the 3rd edition, like himself, and Mattias Andréasson from
